Grasscloth wallpaper is a natural fiber material that requires a different installation process than standard wallpaper. Here are some tips for installing grasscloth wallpaper:

• Follow the manufacturer's instructions: Some recommend stopping after three strips if the product doesn't look right.

• Plan out the room: Since all seams will be visible, make sure the placement looks good.

• Prime the walls: Use wallpaper primer to help the wallpaper hang longer.

• Protect your floor: Put down a drop cloth to catch any adhesive that might fall.

• Choose the right adhesive: Natural grasscloth is fragile, so thin adhesives might leak through to the front. Some recommend using a standard clear wallpaper paste. MFG instructions are very important for this step

• Apply adhesive: Spread the adhesive evenly on the wall where the first panel will go or it could be paste the paper and book it which again you must follow MFG suggestions

• Book the wallpaper: Roll up the strip and let it sit for a few minutes to rest.

• Apply the panel: Hang the panel on the wall.

• Use a smoothing brush: A smoothing brush might work better than a seam roller or smoothing tool.

• Understand with this wallpaper it is not "printed" it is unique and with that you will see the seams and you will see imperfections in the paper. This paper is not recommended for people who want things to look perfect as this is an imperfect paper.
